Depending on your preference and state of tiredness after your journey we have two options. We could investigate the local estuaries for a few hours and lunch at a local pub. Or we can stay aboard the coach and do a tour of Limerick City. This city is the home to "Angela's Ashes" and like most cities in Ireland owes its beginnings to the Vikings in the 9th. Century. The Normans also left their mark with King John's Castle and St.Mary's Cathedral.
A one-hour drive then brings us to the picturesque village of Blarney for our first overnight.
